Given the health-related issues that come with obesity (Type II Diabetes, Heart Disease, to name a few), these statistics are alarming, and change needs to start at home.

Eating a little healthier is a good place to start. Statistics have shown that the average American family eats out approximately 3 times per week, and as you can see in our comparison, that is likely to lead to the consumption of far more calories then needed.
